George arrived at the Deva Stadium initially on a short-term basis in August 2019. He made his debut in the loss at Spennymoor but impressed in his first four games. It was then announced Glendon had signed up for the immediate future with the club, despite interest higher up the pyramid. George was released from League Two side Carlisle United prior to his move to CH1. From Manchester, he was previously at Fleetwood Town where he made close to 50 appearances for the Cod Army. Glendon started his career at Manchester City and Captained their Elite Development Squad – as well as playing for England at Under 16 and Under 17’s level. The talented central midfielder is now into his third season as the Club Captain of the Blues.
