Brad joined the club in December 2018 from Ashton United. The wide man started his career coming through the ranks at Burnley, along with loan spells at Bangor City and Southport whilst at Turf Moor. He joined fellow National League North side Ashton United in August and has chipped in with six goals during 2018/19. One of those goals was a consolation at the Swansway Chester Stadium in a 4-1 defeat to the Blues. Jackson went on to make 21 appearances for the remainder of the season at Chester, impressing at both right back and on the right of midfield. He was named Chester FC Players’ Player of the Season in 2019/20 in a superb season for the winger, as he also topped the assist charts. Jackson was subject of EFL interest, but signed a new 18-month deal at the Deva Stadium at the start of 2020.
