Vastly experienced midfielder Alex joined the club in July 2022. The defensive midfielder initially impressed during a trial period with Calum McIntyre’s side. Alex started his career at Everton; before featuring at Chorley, Lancaster City and Stockport County. In 2013, he moved to Morecambe, where he would go on to make more than 250 appearances for the club. His eight-year stay with the Shrimps ended with promotion into League One in his final game for the club. Kenyon then signed for Scunthorpe United, before moving on to Scottish Championship side Ayr United at the back end of the 2021/22 campaign.
