MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Boston United
The Blues return to the Deva this weekend looking to build on last Saturday’s superb away win in Norfolk.
Our 1-0 victory at King’s Lynn in the Blues’ last outing ended the hosts incredible home record of eleven wins and a draw from twelve games at the Walks. Rhys Hughes scored the winner, his first for the club after arriving on loan from Tranmere Rovers last month.
The win took Calum McIntyre’s side to 49 points from 30 matches, surpassing the total number of points accumulated in the entirety of the 2021/22 campaign. A clear marker of progression this term, but this weekend’s focus is clear, a first home win since the start of December.
Boston United still sit in the bottom four, but were victorious at home last weekend, a hugely impressive 3-1 win over promotion chasing Darlington.
Kick off on Saturday is 3pm.
