MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Spennymoor Town

After six successive draws, Chester host Spennymoor looking to get back on the winning track once again at the Deva.

Tuesday’s 1-1 draw with Alfreton was the third home game in a row that the Blues rescued a point in stoppage time, with Anthony Dudley stepping off the bench to score. It’s now 17 league games unbeaten, but McIntyre and co know that they need to start turning draws into wins to keep ahead of the chasing pack outside the top seven.

Spennymoor are one of the form sides in the division at present, with just one defeat in their last seven, winning five of those matches. Victory for Jason Ainsley’s side this weekend could cut the gap to the top seven to just three points.

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm.
