MATCH PREVIEW | Chester vs Alfreton Town
The Blues come into back-to-back home games looking to strengthen their top seven position, with Alfreton Town first up.
This game was originally scheduled to take place back in December but was postponed due to a frozen pitch. Rebooked for the end of January, the Blues remain unbeaten since – now 16 league games – but will want to return to winning ways following five successive draws.
Alfreton are also undefeated since the original date – with three wins and two draws, and are yet to concede a goal in that time. These two sides picked up an opening day point apiece back in August as a Tom Denton double cancelled out Chester goals from Kurt Willoughby and Joe Lynch.
Kick off on Tuesday night is 7.45pm.
