We can confirm that midfielder Drew Lowe has joined Runcorn Town on loan for a month.
The 18-year-old signed his first senior deal with the Blues in June and was an unused sub in all four of our Emirates FA Cup games this term; as well as in our Buildbase FA Trophy tie last weekend.
Drew joined the club at the age of 16 from Stoke City and has impressed in the middle of the park whilst progressing in Calum McIntyre’s young side.
Lowe capped off his time in the Academy setup in style, stepping up to score the winning spot kick in the penalty shootout win for the Blues which clinched the Under-19’s the National League Alliance Cup for a second time.
Drew joins fellow young midfielder Sam Hughes at the Viridor Community Stadium. Runcorn Town sit 20th in the North West Counties Premier, with 20 points from their first 23 matches.
Best of luck, Drew!
