Chester will look to respond to midweek disappointment as Gateshead visit the Deva Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The Blues were well beaten by Curzon Ashton on Tuesday. Two goals down at the break, they created plenty in the second 45 but failed to take their chances – before the Nash added a stoppage time third.
While the Managers and Players refused to use injury troubles and battles with covid as an excuse; they have been without key players such as Anthony Dudley and Kevin Roberts for the season so far.
Gateshead meanwhile didn’t play on the opening day due to covid issues with scheduled opposition, but kicked off with a 3-1 victory over Kettering Town last weekend.
The game is a 3pm kick off at The Deva Stadium.
