Chester FC’s Youth side advanced in the FA Youth Cup this evening, with a convincing win over Marine.
The Blues were two ahead at the break. Leighton Kendrick firing home on 19 minutes, before James Cottrell’s swivel and strike just before the break gave Calum McIntyre’s side a healthy advantage.
Cottrell turned provider three minutes after the break, sliding through Lloyd Marsh-Hughes to convert. The fourth was scored brilliantly by Stuart Crilly on 76 minutes, striking low into the bottom corner from 20 yards.
Will Goodwin tapped home the fifth with his very first touch off the bench – before Crilly bagged a brace with the sixth late on.
