There are still places left for the Best Ever Blues reunion this Friday at the Swansway Chester Stadium, 7.30pm start.
The event will celebrate the highest-ever finish by a Chester team who finished season 1977-78 in fifth position in the old Division Three, now League One.
Players from that team will reunite to revive the memories, have a few laughs, and raise money for Chester FC and the club’s Former Players Association.
Players confirmed to attend are Ian Mellor, Nigel Clutton, Brian Lloyd, Grenville Millington, Bob Delgado, Jim Walker, Nigel Edwards, Ian Edwards and Brynley Jones, plus the club’s general manager at the time Ken Roberts.
Admission is £15 which includes a one-course hot meal.
Tickets are on sale at the Swansway Chester Stadium, or you can pay on the door but please book your place first for catering purposes by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org no later than Friday morning.
