Chester FC are delighted to announce the signing of Liam Davies on a deal until the end of the season.
The 20-year old, from Liverpool, began his professional career at Tranmere Rovers – where he signed his first contract back in 2014.
The midfielder Captained the Academy side, before Davies departed Rovers at the end of the 2015-16 campaign.
The left footer impressed during a number of behind closed doors friendlies, and has been training with the Blues for several weeks.
Speaking to ChesterFC.com on his arrival, Davies said: “The last few weeks have been brilliant at the club – both the behind closed doors games and training and it’s great to be a part of the club.
“The lads and staff have been really welcoming and I’m looking forward to getting started.”
Blues boss Jon McCarthy added: “I’m delighted that Liam has agreed to join us until the end of the season.
“It is a real opportunity for both club and player to work together with the following season’s squad very definitely on the agenda.
“Liam is a hard working, technically gifted, left sided midfield player. He has earned the respect of the squad and staff while training with us over the last month.”
Welcome to Chester FC, Liam!
