Neil Young - First Team Manager

Neil has been in football management for more than 10 years after injury brought a premature end to his own playing career at the age of 24.
He had a spell in charge of West Cheshire side Poulton Vics and was then Assistant Manager at both Cammell Laird and Rhyl enjoying success at both.
He then took over as manager at Colwyn Bay taking them from 17th place in Unibond League One South to the play offs in his first year and ultimately promotion to the Evo Stik Premier.
He was appointed as Chester FC’s first manager in May 2010 and, along with his management team, guided the club to promotion in each of its first two years.

Gary was assistant to Neil Young at Colwyn Bay and followed him to Chester in the same capacity.
Gary had a fine playing career in the Football League after starting out as a trainee at Tranmere in 1993.
A centre forward he had three spells with Rovers and also played for Nottingham Forest and Grimsby scoring 74 goals in 424 league games.
Gary Powell - First Team Coach
Gary is sponsored by Walter Keen
Gary was appointed as the third member of the management team at Chester.
As a player he began his career with Everton and went on to play league football with Lincoln, Scunthorpe, Wigan and Bury before moving on to spells with Altrincham, Macclesfield, Bangor, Rhyl, Flint, Conwy and TNS.
Part of a Championship winning squad at TNS he also had the honour of scoring Rhyl’s first ever goal in the Champions League.

Alex is Chester FC's main scout. the former Tranmere player joined Neil Young's management team last season and has helped to bring in some quality names to the Club.
Jimmy Soul - Kit Man

Jimmy is the 'Soul Man' at the Club - being responsible for the kit at all times, and is an integral part of the management team. Jimmy is one of the most infectious characters at the club, and is a well known figure at the club since he joined the management team in 2010. Jimmy breathes each game like the rest of us!

Calvin is the Football Secretary at the Club, dealing with all kinds of paperwork that is so intense in the footballing world. Also looking after training equipment, and liaising with the League and Clubs within it, Calvin's role is essential to the running of the club.

Will is the Club's Physio, and has been on hand many times to help the injured players through their difficult times, but also asses those who are maybe feeling the strain and giving them the right guidance and advice to keep them as fit as possible.
Lee Worrall - Goalkeeping Coach

Lee joined the Club in 2011 as Goalkeeping coach. Lee previously played for Buckley in the Cymru Alliance League but a shoulder injury at 24 years old meant a move into coaching and he started off at Buckley, before moving onto first team coach at Airbus, where he remains head goalkeeper coach at the Airbus Academy. He joined Chester in 2011 to concentrate on coaching the Chester goalkeepers.
