Alex joined Chester from Droylsden in the summer and settled into a midfield general role in pre season games.
Alex started his career with Crewe and then had a spell with Leek Town before joining Witton Albion in 2006.
He joined Droylsden in 2008 and during his time there scored against both Chesterfield and Leyton Orient in FA Cup ties.
