Chester born Wes slipped through the net to join Wrexham as a youngster and ironically made his debut for the Welshmen against Chester in November 2007.
He went on to score 8 goals in 74 appearances for Wrexham and had an extended loan spell with Altrincham last season.
Wes was signed by Chester in the summer and marked his arrival at the club with a cracking winning goal in a pre season win over Tranmere Rovers.
