Duo available for trip to Aggborough
Chester FC boss Neil Young has brought in Sunderland attacking midfielder Jordan Laidler and Bury winger Aidan Chippendale on a month's loan, with the duo both available for tomorrow's trip to Conference Premier favourites Kidderminster Harriers.
Jordan is a pacy striker-turned-midfielder who featured for Sunderland's youth team while still at school before signing as a full time apprentice ahead of the 2010-11 season. In his first full season he scored 12 goals in 25 appearances, before adding another eight strikes in 20 appearances in 2011-12.
He featured 18 times for the Black Cat's reserves before turning professional in summer 2012. During the 2012-13 season he featured more in a midfield role, dropping deep to get the ball, this resulted in him scoring 4 times during his 23 appearances.
Clearly impressing Jordan was rewarded with a call-up to the first team squad by Paolo Di Canio in April 2013 and was named on the bench for the first time in Sunderland's defeat to Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
Chippendale started off his career as a youngster at Bradford City before then moving over to West Yorkshire rivals Huddersfield Town at the age of just 13. After being named The Terriers' Academy Player of the Year in 2009/10, he then signed a 2 year deal with Town.
Aidan found his opportunities limited and went out on loan to both York City and Inverness Caledonian Thistle, before eventually signing for Accrington Stanley where he made a handful of appearances for the League 2 side, before joining Bury this Summer.
Welcome to Chester, Jordan and Aidan.
