Chester Football Club unveiled its new MBNA-sponsored kit this week ahead of its latest friendly match against a Liverpool XI.
Chester Captain George Horan was the first to wear the new strip at a training session at MBNA. Fans will now get their first glimpse of the full team wearing the Puma-designed strip at the match at Chester’s Exacta Stadium on Wednesday, kick off 7pm..
Chester FC chief executive Pat Cluskey said: “The new retro style design which was voted for by CFU members is fantastic and I’m sure fans will be excited to see this revealed before we start the new season in the Blue Square Conference North.”
MBNA, which was announced as the club’s principal partner for the new season three months ago, has sponsored Chester FC since its inception in 2010
John Greaves, MBNA’s communications executive, said: “We are incredibly proud of our principal partnership with Chester FC and to be investing in the future of our city’s football club. The new kit is the most obvious sign of the ties between us and the club but, for us, the most important thing is that we are able to support a club that is so central to our local community.”
The new kit will be available to buy from the Club Shop at the Exacta Stadium from 1st August, 2012.
